“Do more of what makes you happy” ~ unknown

“Love, compassion and concern for others are real sources of happiness. If you have these in abundance, you will not be disturbed even by the most uncomfortable circumstances. If you nurse hatred, however, you will not be happy even in the lap of luxury. Thus, if we really want happiness, we must widen the sphere of love.” ~ Dalaï-Lama

“Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling.” ~ Margaret Lee Runbeck (shared by my dear friend Joanna Wolczyk)

    I absolutely love this quote…
Whenever I need to come back in the now I read it over and over again. In our society, we’ve been led to think that happiness is something we need to achieve like that picture perfect house. In fact, happiness can be found every time we choose to take a deep breath and feel joy in our hearts. It takes practice and it’s worth every time. It’s also contagious. The journey is the destination once you get on the tracks!
